I have a Johnson 115 SPL with the following compression readings. 120 120 120 90. 90 is on the number 1 cylinder. I tried decarbing today and could not raise the compression. I suspect I must have a broken ring. Any thoughts. The motor is in really good shape, I have had it since 2000 and never had any issues other than cleaning the carbs for lack of use and improper winterization, which I have recently realized. Will it hurt running like this? Is it a tough job to pull the heads? Any manuals available? Thanks for any help.

Keep your eyes on e-bay and you can find an original shop manual. I recommend getting a real one vs. one of the (usually poor) CD copies. Beyond that, make sure you get the right one. I have a '96 and bought a manual for a 90 degree crossflow by accident instead of for my 60 degree looper.
