johnson 115vro prop to evenrude 88spl prop

i have a 115 johnson vro that has a pretty agressive prop on it and i just got a new/used boat that has a evenrude 88spl on it with a tiny prop. i don't know the specs on either prop but was wondering if the 115 prop will give the 88spl a little more get up and go... i was told the prop on the 115 was the most agressive it could run with out cavitating and the motor had no problem getting the boat out of the water (17' dynatrack) the 115 had no problems spinning up to 6500rpm's in seconds the 88spl is on a 17 proline c.c. i had to get rid of the dynatrack after the back bays turned into the ocean with 4ft breakers and cracked the hull and sunk the boat!!!!!
