Re: Johnson 150, and 2-Stroke oil
You totally missed the point of MY background in lubricants.....I don't dislike Amzoil....I dislike the false information presented in an insulting manner that you believe everyone else "cannot see the light". You never did mention anything about where the corrosive vapors go that never leave your engine....what do they say about that???? I HAVE been to the site, and I never said anything bad about Amzoil, here, or anywhere else.
I CAN tell you, there is not one single product from AMZOIL, that is certified for use in aircraft engines....piston, or Turbine, and yet the oils that ARE certified, are the same manufacturers of some auto oils.
IF it's THAT good, why is it not FAA-PMA approved????????? (Aircraft use).
Exxon, now BP, and Mobile, are THE ONLY CERTIFIED synthetic oils approved for use in aircraft turbines by the Turbine manufacturers, and the US Military, in their aircraft...Not only that, they are the ONLY certified synthetics for ANY aircraft engine. (Aeroshell is semi-synthetic).
