I have discovered thet the T&T Motor is stuffed on the above - i have managed to remove the bolts holding the T&T unit but no luck in removing the pin on the ram - does anyone know if I can replace the above without removing the Pin ? or do I keep on with some "friendly persuasion".
Thanks

Hey Wayne.....

If ya' don't got the engine up and supported, that would be a good idea. The pin should come out with no pressure applied to it, like the weight of the engine setting on it. If it's stuck, a little "persuation" is permissable.

Hey Wayne, if relieving the weight of the engine doesn't help and you find that the pin is indeeed froze, soak first with some quality pentetrating oil before persuading too hard.Good luck.

That's why GOD invented propane! There are two plastic bushings inside the top of the tilt ram, melt them and free up the pin, power on with a big drift and good size hammer, go to town! Once you get the tilt pin out, open the manual release valve, lower the motor by hand (which lowers the ram) , raise the motor back up manually, and now you can remove the whole thing from inside the two clamp brackets. Piece of pie!
