its the offshore version,positive theres no leak, plugs are perfect color. everything runs fine other than check engine one in a while. im positive about the 17gal though. Im going to change the valve and fuel/water seperator and see what happens.

As an FYI, i actually spoke with a Tech at Evinrude yesterday over the phone. Although they do highly recomend the fuel/H20 Sep, for the carbed versions (which you and i both have) they highly recomend AGAINST a 10 micron filter. He said that anything tighter than 25 would be pushing it. Sure it'll run fine at idle and mid RPMS, but at higher speeds/RPMS it can restrict JUST ENOUGH to cause hot spots and a fuel restriction alarm.

They sell i kit that i believe is 28 micron. If you already have a Sierra 10 micron, they sell a 21 spin on that'll do the job
