johnson 25hp prop

i am wondering if someone knows of a place i can get information on what props will work on my boat, it is a 1985 johnson 25, with a 10/13. what other engine use this same prop or one with a diff pitch ect i can make fit ?

Link on this site to propellers will show you.<br /><br />For deciding on a propeller you need to setup your motor right (see your other post).<br /><br />Then you have to know what rpm you reach at wot as changing the prop will affect this and it is used to decide if the prop is right for your use.<br /><br />Once you know the rpm and what you'd like to achieve/change, alternative prop dimensions can be suggested.

well thanks again UU, although i dont know why im thanking you, in no way shape or form did you answer my question. i dont want to change my pitch or diameter, i want to know what props will fit my engine, example= does a 35 hp, or a 15hp have the same prop as my engine, what about evinrude, other omc brands, where can i get a prop if i need one besides a boat dealership. i want to know this because i can get used props alot cheaper than i can get a new prop, sometimes someone might sell a 35hp prop and not know what engines it interchanges with. and "from my first post" my engine has always been setup right, the problem lies within the boat itsself, but i guess you didnt read that post either.

and i clicked the link you talked about, it tells me what props they will sell me for my motor, nowhere does it say what props will interchange with it.

I'm sorry that the link did not lead you to any useful information. No offense intended, I can assure you.<br /><br />Have to admit that the link does not immediately show it, but further clicking revealed a list, brought here for your convenience:<br /><br />14 Hp 1988-1989 <br />25 Hp 1978-1984 <br />25 Hp Com 1978-1991 <br />28 Hp 1986-and newer <br /><br />use the same propeller family, provided we're talking 'rubber hub' and not shear pin which appearantly was also available with the '85 25hp.
