Johnson 40 but what year ?

Hello i have a question for anybody that knows the answer i just buyed a 40 super seahorse :model nr RX 14D Serial nr B2602 :40 h.p super seahorse , electramatic , I would like to know from what year is this engine greetings Talitje

Model Number: RX-14<br />Make: Johnson<br />Year: 1966<br />HP: 33!<br />WOT RPMS: 4500<br />Displacement: 40.5 cu.in. = 663.7 ccm<br />Cylinders: 2<br />Weight: 127 - 140 lbs. = 57.6 - 63.5 Kg<br />Sparkplugs: Champion J4C gapped at 0.030"<br /><br />The 40hp hood fits the 33hp, by the way. I think the transom clamp does to. Verify the serial number stamped into the welsh plug on the block (silver disk on top of the top cyilnder) matches the one on the clamp.<br /><br />Good luck! thank you Mr moir for youre fast reaction ,and pictures, okay i got a 33 h.p with a hood of a 40 h.p , that figures , i am robbed of 7 h.p . I learned something more today , i checked the nr;s and model its a 33 h.p alright , thank you and greetings
