Solid beep is overheat. Have the alarm system tested. By the way, 1.5 inches of oil in the resevoir is getting pretty low.

I would suggest getting an OEM shop manual if your going to do it yourself.

Well not having much luck no grounding or breaks in the wire anywhere I can find. someone told me it could be a short in the sending unit it the oil tank that make in it go off , which dont make much sence it was a solid beeeeep. the wiring diagram show the wire going from the senser to the wiring harness to the horn any input would be great .. Help!!!!

Definately sounds like elec fault.
If the engine was cold at startup and the alarm sounded, it can't be overheat.
Fuel pump woes usually show up at WOT, not idle.

Its definately not oil alarm, wrong sound.

Problem is...you need to replicate the problem to troubleshoot.
If the alarm is sounding you can disconnect the grey signal wire at the horn, if it continues beeping the horn is bad.
Unplug the port heat sensor and ground to block (key on) beeper should sound.

As the pump was recently done, I would go over all the elec connectors all the way back to oil tank.
disconnect and clean, look for any corrosion, that will cause the alarm too.

With the ignition on, not running, wiggle any related elec connector, if its intermittent the alarm will beep.

Maybe use some spray aerosol elec cleaner, reconnect and use dialectric grease to seal.

Get the genuine factory service book, not seloc junk. You need to order it from the dealership.

Post 1996 you have to order factory service books from the dealership, worth their weight in gold.
Even if you don't work on it yourself, its explains everything.
The worst manuals are the CDROM's. They are just scanned selocs.

Warning horn has a black built in ground wire and 2 slide on terminals. The TAN wire must be attached to the slide on terminal closest to the black ground wire. If otherwise, weird things happen.

Test...... All wires attached properly. Turn key ON (engine not running). If horn beeps remove the TAN wire from the horn. If beeping continues, the horn is faulty. If horn stops beeping, one of the sensors at the engine is grounding or the TAN wire has shorted out at some point.
