I disconnected the VRO on my 92' Johnson 40. I unplugged the electrical harness and plugged the oil intake. With the VRO harness unplugged the motor will not turn off with the key. All I can think is somehow the controls and key ignition are grounded through the VRO somehow??? Everyone else seemed to be fine by just unplugging the VRO, not me. Any ideas?
