I spend quite some time setting the needles and the timing. This is the best I could come with..... As I discribe in posts above the needles are nowhere near the default position... If I set them at around the factory 2 turns the engine dies....Much can be improved on the idle smoothness.
Speaking of the cam roller, I'm also having difficulty getting my hands on one. Any chance someone with a set of calipers could measure the outside diameter of the sleeve?Sounds like you’re pretty confident on your linkage settings. How does the cam roller look?
They can sometime crack and without spinning it around it can hard to see a missing pice of the roller. This will mess with its alignment.
