My engine got wet boat over turned not for a long period less than 20 minutes and I have been drying things out. After initially drying out I ran the motor for about 30 minutes spraying extra oil in to the carbs removed and took the started apart and changed the solinoid.. I have know removed the lower crankcase cover to remove any river fresh water that was trapped. (there was very little there). My question is about re installing the cover. I will get a new seal and o ring as the o ring has grown.. How do I get the cover in place with out damaging the o ring. must I loosed the crankcase bolts or just carefully tighten evenly the cover screws? Thanks Bill
