Got her working again! Cost me $175 in parts but she's good as new. Took me a while to figure it out (never did get the trim unit off of the boat).
The main thing was that I didn't realize that the oil pump assembly, part #37, came apart. There were two sprockets and two ball bearings (looked like BB's) in it which were essentially rusted in place. I oiled and scribes those so that they'd move freely and then put it all back together.
I still am trying to figure out how it forces oil into the hydraulic cylinder, but the important thing is that it works.
My last question is, whose idea was it to make the hole into which you pour the hydraulic fluid parallel with the ground. Seems like I'm spilling 75% of it. I must be doing it wrong.
