Johnson '67 6HP-new points defective?

I am tuning up a 1967 Johnson 6HP. I got new points for it and when installed I was a little concerned. Unlike the old set, the lower part (the spring loaded part) does not fit as snug on the post (ie. the stem that it pivots on) as it opens and closes. The result is that I can wiggle it a bit left to right on this post out of perfect alignment with my finger. It seems with engine vibration this could happen in operation, but maybe not. I am not a big fan of pulling the flywheel at the drop of a hat with ever ignition problem- would like to get this right. Should I return these and get some better quality or should these work with no problem? Any recommendations....

I believe that it will pretty much settle into position and not move. Unless it is VERY sloppy, don't worry about it.
