So i connected the wires up to the battery but then noticed the fish-finder was off. so while the engine was running(Johnson 70hp mid 80's 2 stroke) i disconnected the negative side of the battery. then as soon as i started to unscrew the the negative side a loud buzzer sound went off. i immediately shut the engine off. now when i turn the key, in the control box there's an annoying buzzing warning sound that doesn't stop. does anyone know what the problem could be of how to turn it off.
Thanks

NEVER-EVER disconnect the battery with the engine running.

At a minimum, you popped your: fuse, charging rectifier, maybe the stator too. Typically a bad horn remains on constantly.
