I bought a Thundercraft Ski Boat at an auction, I really just bought it for the engine. I put in a new hot battery and tried to crank it. The motor spins easily with the plugs out, (V-4) but when you put the plugs back in, it will barely crank over. It's definitely firing, with blue sparks from all 4 plugs. Could it be out of time or maybe a starter issue? I tried jumper cables directly to the starter with no difference.
