Johnson 9.5 Gears

What are your thoughts on the gears pic. There is wear and tear on the drive shaft mostly but a little on the prop shaft too.. Should I clean it up with emery cloth?
My seal kit and points kit came in yesterday so I am ready to go to work.

The wear on the driveshaft above the pinion spline is a concern.----What does the bushing in the gearcase look like there ?

Racerone, it looks and feels good. I am wondering if its from a previous injury. My brother years ago 1980 had to replace the gear case and drive shaft so maybe it was like that to start with. I'll ask him.
