Johnson 9.9 - How Old

I have a 9.9 Johnson white in color. Plastic hood/cowl with a sea horse logo imprinted. Not a sticker. The this is on the label that is on the part that sits on the transom: MO l08 Serial # J2426619 best I can see? Anyone tell me the year manufactured?

An ---MQ10 would likely be a 1964 model 9.5 motor.--------Is carburetor on the side or front of the motor ?

It is a 9.5. Short shaft. Not sure about carb. I was thinking it's on top?

A white 9.5 can only be a 64 / 65 / 66 model.
