Johnson 9.9 Manual (1981 vs 1980)

My motor is a 1981 Johnson 9.9.<br /><br />I have a line on a factory manual but it's 1980.<br /><br />Any reason not to pick it up? Did they change anything from 1980 to 1981?<br /><br />My first guess is no as they used the same ignition from 78 to after 81 and they never changed much else on these motors.

Not silly, but I am looking for a OMC manual for my motor. I have (access to) a Clymer that covers my motor but I'd rather have the specific manual from OMC.<br /><br />If iBoats has them available (and I have searched with no luck), I'd love someone to point me to them and I'd be glad to buy from here.<br /><br />I do try to find stuff here first but sine my motors are so old (1975 OMC Stringer and 1981 Johnson), I haven't found much yet.

Very little, if any, difference between '80 and '81 models....<br />- Scott
