Johnson 90hp Beeping sound

Motor starts & runs fine (90hp Johnson 1999) when Im out on the water long beep sounds about every 10 minutes. Any help is appreciated

Suspect either fuel restriction or overheating. If the top of the heads are too hot to touch, it's overheating. Is it overdue for water pump service?

Try running with a portable tank mixed at 50:1 ratio (about 2 1/2 oz oil per gal of gas.) Plug the VRO oil line at the engine and disconnect the wire harness. See if the alarm stops sounding.
