Johnson / Evinrude service manual 70hp

I just purchased a service manual on ebay for my 1976 70hp Johnson. A day later I received a letter from the seller that he misplaced the manual but could send me an evinrude one and throw in a free parts manual. My question: Is it basically the same manual? Will it throw me off when replacing my impeller or rebuilding the carbs?

Same motors....... different markings and color.

Sorry, I would have posted if I did. I dont believe in recieving help and then not posting results. Truth is, I have been soo busy that I have not had time to do it. I am now just about brave enough to tackle the scary job though. Summer is coming soon and I want to be on the water having fun without a big question mark over my head. I just sent you a private message about your fuel pump rebuild.
