Hello. New to this site but from what I can see it has many experienced and clever individuals attached.
My question is this. What connections and cable colur is used to connect the j50plsr to a trim gauge and can anyone recommend a good unit, I can see an unused 3 core behind the das one looks purple, one black and I think the third is grey. Bit sad to say this but my j50 has only done 10 hours from new. And was sitting on my boat for 6 years until last week not even had a turn over. Long story but after 6 years of doing absolutely nothing, fitted new plugs new impeller and a fresh tank of petrol, bath of water and 4 starting attempts she fired up and sounded like a baby. Just goes to show how good the Johnson is.
