HEY GUYS THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP WITH MY 1987 j<br />can you guys tell me if they make a vro fuel pump repair kit for this motor? the vro had been removed but still runnig the pump and I took it apart and found out that one of the diaphrams has a small tear in it no wounder i could not get the thing to run at high speeds.

Call your local dealer and see. Check at this site and see if they stock it.

Cant seem to find any repair kit can someone tell me if it is possible to put a reg fuel pump on this motor and if so what is the part number or where can I get the info on it. Thanks

I know that you can purchase repair kits for the "newer" VRO pumps, but if you've got the original 1987 pump, I believe you're out of luck.<br /><br />I'm pretty sure the regular pump (ie. no oil side) part # would be 438402. About $100 cheaper than a new VRO pump. Not 100% certain on this, so you should double check before purchasing.<br /><br />Good luck!

What about replacing it with a reg 50;1 pumper
