I am looking at the purchase of a 1999 edgewater with a 1999 or 2000 Johnson Ocean Pro 250 outboard. I have read in the forums that there may have been problems with the Johnson lower unit in this time frame. (this engine has a differnet color lower unit). What is known about this engine ? and if i have a mechanic check it out, what should I be looking for ? Thanks
