hello folks,

i just registered today to find out about my outboard motor , that came with my just purchased flying arrow sailingboat.
its a johnson seahorse ( belgium made ) 2 stroke/2 cylinder / 87 cc engine
model: J4BRHCIC serial: B001601.
what year would this be ( 70's 80's ) , it doesn't seem to get a spark on both plugs. the exhaust would that be the 4 little holes on both sides of the shaft on the lower end.
its my first outboard engine ever so not too much experience with it
could i find any paperwork or sites on this motor on the net

hope to hear something , thanks rudolphos( netherlands )

That would be a 1981, 4 horsepower. BRP has a website with exploded parts diagrams and parts list at http://shop.evinrude.com/
However, they don't seem to have that exact model listed on the site.
