johnson seahorse drain plug

i have a 1960 johnson super seahorse 75hp. model number v4sl 12 s. does anyone know what i am supposed to use to replace then seals on the vent drain plug screws? it looks like a flat blue washer in there on both? anyone have some advice on what to use? thanks!!

Have you got a dealer in your area, they will have them. You could order them on-line, but the cost of shipping will be more than the washers.

Also a NAPA parts house should also have them.

unfortunately i live no where near a dealer. is there somthing i can buy at a hardware store that will work? or is this a specific made item? these old motors are getting harder to find parts.thanks for any help.

As Will Bark said, if you have a auto parts store close, check with them and see if they carry a line of marine parts called SIERRA, they will have them.
You could take an old one to a hardware store and try yo match it up.
