Re: Johnson Seahorse revival
I think I found the gas leak and that has been patched w/ JB weld. I need to put this motor aside for the next couple of weeks while I work on some other stuff. While it is sitting would it be a good idea to pull the plugs and squirt a solvent or WD-40 into the cylinders to help loosen up the piston rings? Also will I fry my coils if I turn the motor over with the spark plugs left out? Lastly is there a source online for parts / service manuals for the TN-28? I’d still like to know more about this motor and make sure that I’m not missing any parts. Thanks again for all of your tips/help!
