ok i asked this on another thread but im new to this site and didnt know this thread was here. I have a 70 hp 1986 johnson vro outboard and im looking to get a service manual for it. I cant seem to find a used one from 1986 but ive found several from 87-90. They look like the same engine to me but i didnt know if there were any differences in the years that would make the 1986 manual unique to that year. If i bought one of these manuals from a different year would i still be able to use it for mine or should i just keep looking for an 86? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
