Hey guys, I have a '67 Evinrude 60hp that has a johnson ship master control box. Throttle lever works great, but I recently broke the little plastic piece to control the shifting. I was wondering if anyone had a good lead on a part number or if there is one of these here on iboats. Also might buy a new cable if there was one on here as well. Here is a picture if it helps:

The plastic piece is supposed to be one piece. It obviously is not anymore haha.

Easy. Part number 308034 casing guide. Available from any Evinrude dealer for about $6. I might even have one out in my shop. Send me a PM if you want me to take a look.

Oh yes those parts are very available. I just refurbished my Ship Master Control Box myself and bought those new parts as well... Here is the picture of the finished box;

Awesome thanks! Now what about the other end? In the process I seemed to have broken that one. I found the cable, and now thanks to you guys I have the front connector! Just need the end one and I'm set! Thanks for you help guys!

it has a very simple connection, just a pressure spring with a t bolt on the other side, fits through the handle and you turn it to hold it in place. Just can't seem to track it down!

Again YES that end is also available as well. I also bought two new ends for my cable rebuilds on EBay. The part number for my setup was 0385956, but yours may be different not knowing or seeing any pictures of it... With that part number also comes the internal "O" ring too. And thanks for the kind words on my refurbished Control Box. It certainly didn't look anything like that when I bought the boat/motor/trailer rig I can assure you...

That is it! But does it come with the bolts for the wire and stuff? Or do I need to save those from the old one? And of course it looks incredible!

Each part has its own part number so you buy them separately. So just take your old ones and if they are good, clean them up and reuse them. You can find all the parts for that Control Box system here;
Remote Control Single Motor Remote Control 1976 Accessories for 1976 Johnson Evinrude Outboards

If this forum allows such an address posted. This site also has some parts for this Control Box but for some reason they don't list them all... Hope this does help...
