I have a 35hp Johnson super seahorse motor, runs good will sputter and backfire when starting, I want to sell it and get a gas motor, I need a good idea of what its worth.

Almost impossible to answer like this.

Cosmetics are the most important here. The '58 is a popular model amoung cedar strip restorers though for that vintage. I had one on my Peterborough and it looked great.
