Johnson V4 85HP Carb Change from Choke plate to Choke Primer How is it done ???

I have an 1980 V4 85HP i have bigger carbs that i would like to fit but the problem i have is the bigger carbs have choke plates fitted where as my engine has the choke primer system. How do i go about fitting the larger carbs ?
Do i take the choke plates out and just bolt the carbs on ?
Do i have to mod the carbs in some way that they work with the primer system ?
Can i run them as they are with the choke plates in place and manually choke to get started?
I am at a loss of what to do please help guys any help is good

First, why do you want to put bigger carbs on the engine? What are the bigger carbs off of? Thinking it will turn it into a 100 hp?

You may find any pictures I've posted to threads in the past have been killed by Bloat-o-Phuket's new hosting paradigm. I just popped the nipples out of my newer carbs then found a drill with the right fit and drilled through the older carb at an angle.

PS: my carbs are 1-3/8" off a '79 140
