I have disconnected the oil tank from my Johnson Fast Strike 150HP (J150GLOEM) and now I'm mixing the fuel and oil manually. Is it necessary to change the fuel pump? I've seen where they have two different kinds, I think? Looks like one for fuel and oil and one for fuel only (premixing I'm guessing).

Thanks all!

Your model number doesn't make sense. Other than that, you can use the vro for a fuel pump only for the premix fuel. Cap off where the oil line connected to the vro on the vro and disconnect the wiring from the vro and oil tank.

Sorry about that. It's supposed to be GLEOM. Sometimes the fingers and the brain aren't on the same page.

What could I use to cap off where the oil line connected? Does it have to be completely sealed?

A short piece of oil line with a bolt stuck in it and some tie wraps.
