I'm going to be carpeting a box shaped console, are there any good ways to match the carpet up so there isn't a visible gap. Is there any trim availible anywhere? Thanks!

well if you carpet the wood before putting the box together then you can just staple the carpet on the back side, so when you put the wood together it looks professionally done.

Did you understand what I'm trying to explain?

Good Luck!

Another option would be not to seam on the edges or corners of the outside. If you seam on a flat surface, the joint is usually a lot less noticable.
The carpet prior to assembly is the best option though.

One more note, keep the flow/grain going toward the floor, or toward the stern.
When joining carpet, keep the flow/grain going the same direction.

Onother hint is to lay the two pieces over each other. With a razor knife cut both at the same time. Remove the excess and the two will look as one.
