And who got the money for the lawsuits?......The labels and what did the musicians get? nothing...........Most bands hate the major labels.....now indie labels are different..........When the band does good they do good and visa versa........Now small time signed bands are quite different then bands like Metallica or Areosmith make bookoo bucks on their deals and have major issues with Ill. downloading.......smaller bands have had it good because of it.....If people are downloading your music, they like it, If they like it they will come to your shows where tha band can make some scratch sell Merch and things...........I predict that in the near future the Majors will take a huge hit because with tech. growing the way it is the indies can now keep up with the majors wheb it comes to getting things heard and promoted. The majors are gonna have to change or they will fade away and at the very least break up into smaller indie labels themselves.

I have mixed feeling about the riaa and downloading music. I download most of the cd's that I have bought as sort of a test drive. That way I listen to the whole cd for about a week before I make a decision. If the cd is over all good with more then just 1 or 2 tracks, I reward the artist and buy the cd which usually has better sound quality anyways. If it is craptastic, meh, I'm only out the cost of a blank cd.

So, I guess this means that the G-Men have passed a list through the Netherworld, and now J. Edgar Hoover has a list of all the "subversive guitar players" that I have watched on YouTube!

I could go on for days and days but what's the point? You're obviously wrong. Either you're completely uninformed or you work for them or in the industry and want to try to paint them in a better light than the truth does.

Dude again not for downloading but for allowing others to receive stolen property. It's not per song it's how many times did they share stolen goods. A crime.

Your nowhere near as informed as you think and to say I'm obviously wrong by stating facts that back up everything I said makes no sense.

So go on with your conspiracy theory life and have fun with it cause it's really obvious that I don't work for the people you for some ridiculous reason think should be jail for carrying out their legal rights by the laws that have governed this nation since the 70's.

All the little details don't change reality from being reality Napster was created to steal music and everyone that used it unless they lived in a bubble knew it and actively took part in theft.

Which has NOTHING to do with what is going on with YouTube.
