Typical Rehub. stuff.....
Throw it out there & see what sticks....
I suppose the jury was fixed, too.....
String 'em up before "W" gets to pardon him.......;)

Haut, I want you to be real honest now.... without looking back on your history (all of your posts) tell me how many times you have said "smite the Sarazen" or anything like that.

Did you say that on the 1st of January?..... the 6th of February?.... how about the 1st of March?

How about the exact words from our last PM? Do you know the date? Time?

Think about how uncomplicated your life is in comparison to Libby's.... and how inconsequential the questions asked of him at the time seemed to him.... at the time....

This is pure, political BS... and you know it.

Haut knows this. He is just backed up into a corner and like any Rat will try to bite his way out of this.

Isn't it disheartening to know that 12 jurors (oops, make that 11) are too stupid to sort fact from fiction? I mean they must be complete imbeciles according to the NeoCon Bible. Smite them hip and thigh! Praise Almighty Bush! Seig Heil!

I think there is a lot we yet don't know for sure about this case
Ultimately, the moral of the story is when questioned by the FBI, or brought before a Grand Jury, get a lawyer and don't say anything, or tell the truth, or both.

I truly don't understand why the obsession in the VP's office to discredit Wilson, nor do I understand why revealing that his wife worked for the CIA would achieve that.

What would motivate Libby to lie about this?

I think there is more to this story that we do not yet know, and perhaps never will.

Cant speak for Haut, but I believe that i would remember if someone suggested that I commit a felony, that could cost thirty years of my life, especially if I was 55 years old.

If you are in front of a grand jury, or the FBI, NO question is inconsequential.
Surely Libby knew that.

To answer your question, who knows?...
But then again, I am not acquainted with anyone in any covert operations that deal with national security.....

Well, I doubt if the jurors are rats.....:)
Anyway, let him bite his way out of the trap, if he can:).....
The truth is we will never know the truth......;)Because 'Scooter' will not be forthcoming 'cuz he can't be......:$

From the very beginning of the ensuing spectacle, petty agendas subverted justice. The CIA, at war with the White House, and in particular with the vice president’s office, referred the leak to the Justice Department, even though the agency certainly knew that there had been no criminal violation since Plame wasn’t “covert.”

Did you get that Haut? Plame wasn't covert, she was a deck jockey, had been for 6 years or so... so why would any conversation Libby had, that referred to her, stick in his mind?

Oh well, just another life ruined by the Democrats hatred of the Administration... no big deal.

Yesterday, although not referring to her as "covert", the federal prosecutor said to make no mistake, her position with the CIA WAS classified.

Hey BB! Fitzgerald can 'opine' anyway he wants to when spinin' his victory. He is a very savy prosecutor! He did not charge anything but perjury/obstruction there: BB! That is a secondary crime no matter how ya want to parse this minor matter, (not minor to Mr. Libby BTW). I just luv the spinnin by the MSM forgetin' ol' Web Hubbel, (a minor little detail for Willy's favorite editors) who claim that nobody that high up has been cornvicted since Cap' Weinberger, those 'mean spirited' Republicans are the only real bad ones don't ya know? Re: Jury convicts Libby on four of five charges

Let me see if I got it right.....
June11-12, 2003
Grossman tells Libby that Plame works for CIA...
June 12, 2003
Cheney advises Libby that Plame works for CIA....
June 14,
Libby meets with a CIA briefer & discusses the Wilsons....
June 23
Libby meets with Judith Miller tells he Plame works for CIA.....
I ain't gonna waste any more time chronicling.....
It just seems curious that so many people were talking about it......
Why would you tell areporter that someone was CIA?
Sorry, but it stinks on ice......
He's the sacraficial lamb....
Other heads should have rolled too.....
I reiterate....
Such is the life of a minion......
Touch fire & you will get burned....
He got what he deserves, IMHO.....
Some others skated......

Liar, liar .....
Pants on fire!
Or should I say:
Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!...........:)

The facts remain... talking about a CIA agent, unless they are covert, is NOT a crime.

Lying about what you had for lunch (or any other non-crime) to the FBI, or a Grand Jury, is NOT a crime.

The only heads that should roll in this belong to the CIA for starting an investigation about something they KNEW was not a crime. This was a political stunt by the CIA against Cheney’s office that the Democrats and the MSM picked up and ran with. President Bush should fire those in the CIA that were in on this and pardon Libby with great fanfare and a Media blitz.

Sorry, the subject (Plame), came up way to much for it to be just casual conversation.......
Guilty as charged.....
Brought down by the vast, left wing conspiracy....:%

Nah Crunch! It's a crime if it's material. Libby is a fool! JR

I'm curious. How did you determine she was not covert, since that status, one way or another, is classified. Firzgerald and the CIA seemed to suggest she was--on whose say have you determined she was not.

It is irrelevant in any event to the charges filed against Libby, and what he was convicted of. Regardless of reason a Grand Jury was empaneled, or how justified that may or may not be, you cannot lie to a Grand Jury--a jury found him guilty of that and convicted him--end of story.

And that's all they found him guilty of.
