Take her out again, fit her with a good life jacket and when you get to the middle of the lake put her overboard and tell her to swim back.

God these types of people drive me insane.

Today I was supposed to go out on the boat with "Erin" at 2pm.

Erin texted me and said "Can Jen Come? She's having a bad day."

Of course I say "sure"

2pm comes and goes, I get a text "sorry Jen is holding me up we'll be there in 10"

2:30 shows up and there they are.

This is Jens first time on a boat! Awsome! She's having a blast. We Throw the anchor after the 30/40 min ride out to an island.

She gets a phonecall that someone who is coming to visit is at her house and wants to hang out.

I specifically told Erin that we would head back in around 7 - she told Jen this too.

Apparently Jen's friend was supposed to call her before she left her house (which was about an hour away) so that Jen could tell her if she should leave or not.

Jen looks at me and goes "I don't know what to do"

Of course being a nice guy I say, "well lets have our food and we'll head back in" meanwhile inside I'm really not thrilled.

When we get back to the dock Jen is like "well can I come out monday? " HA HA, not likely!!! (no she's not hot)..

Have you guys ever had something like that happen to you? what'd ya do?

So you were to go out only with Erin for about 5 hours alone on an island, 35 gas guzzling minutes away.

In order to look like a nice guy, you take Jen back in to hangout with someone else instead.

Erin is obviously a super hottie, post pictures.

Should have had her friend meet you at the dock.

I agree it gets annoying running back forth picking up and dropping off..

Thankfully 90% of the time we are on the sandbar which is accessible by foot.. Not the easiest walk/swim.. but if your late and miss the boat or want to leave early happy wading

It's also nice when a newbie gets it right. We were breaking in sis's new bf on the weekend. First visit to the cabin, surrounded by my crazy azz family. Guy did good. We were out in the boat, I could see him fishing around in his pocket for something. Brought out a pack of smokes, held it up with raised eyebrows so I could see and kind of gestures around the boat as if to say "this cool with you?". I shake my head "sorry - nope" and just he smiles, shrugs, puts the pack back and gets back to trolling.

No muss, no fuss, no lingering bad vibe, and best of all, he asked permission.

I told sis he gets to come back.

Most folks who go out with us we tell them to meet us at the ramp at X time. If they haven't shown up by 10 minutes past the time we asked to meet I'll give them a call. Meet me now or call me from the ramp and we'll drop back by to pick them up. You need to leave cuz of an emergency, I'll drop you off where I picked ya up... but it will take as long as it takes to get ya back to your ride. This way my launch and retrieve routine doesn't get interrupted either. Has work great so far and yes we've had to make the trip back to drop someone off. We still get our time out on the water in!!!
