Just bought a johnson 115hp outboard

need a manual,seen a couple online dont know which one to buy.the shop manual or the selco tune up and maint.i have problems with the primer, the red valve is leaking and might have 2 rebuild carbs.

If you can find one of the original factory manuals (or a reprint) for your motor, you will be much happier. The Seloc manuals cover many different motors usually on the same page. You have to weed through to figure out what is for your motor and what is for other motors, and it is not always easy to tell which is which. Check E-bay. You can usually find original manuals for a reasonable price.

You can get an original reprint from Ken Cook Co, in Milwaukee. You can call them for a copy. The are also on the web.

thanks,just found this site and all of u guys are the best.The model #j115eledr.This is my fisrt outbourd and the guy i bought it from told me it sat for about a year.I guess i have to drain fuel tank,fix the broken red valve,do i have to rebuild the carbs too.thanks again for all the help
