Re: Just installed a new Prop

Not knowing the diameter and pitch or your old prop, nor the diameter and pitch of the new prop, nor the manufacturer and style of either, it's impossible to tell. Since bidding ended with your purchase, the link is now broken so we can't tell what you bought.

The listing is there, just gotta scroll down farther....
The prop you bought is a heavy load/high-thrust design.
It should give great hole-shot, but I think it will be lacking on the top-end.

To make it a little clearer 14 X 11 is close to that you would put on a pontoon. Not right for your typical runabout. Boat would have to be a real brute. You will have a terrific hole shot but will have to be very careful not to over rev.
