I just installed a Minn Kota Terrova 55 w/I-Pilot. It was an easy installation. Will be going out this weekend to try it out on Webster Lake in Kansas. Can't wait. I haven't installed a circuit breaker yet, but will take care of that when I get back. My wife loves to fish, so she'll get a chance to play with my new man toy (trolling motor).

Are you taking a fire extinguisher with you? No breaker means no protection on the power lines. A short in those two heavy gauge wires means you have an instant arc welder with accompanying smoke and fire.

Yeah Silvertip, I've got it on a fused line. It's a 40 amp fuse. But if all goes to s%*t, I've got all the necessary safety equipment to include fire ex as well. Thanks
