Yah, sure...you betcha. Actually, it's closer to the end of September, but the fishing is so good here in Minnesota that we catch more fish in the four months we have open water than folks in South Carolina catch all year.

And talk about big? Well, our fish are so big that we use smaller baits just so they won't swamp our boat. And hungry? Our fish are so hungry that they'll bite anything you throw in the water. I heard about one guy who read in the newspaper that a muskie had bitten a 4-year-old kid. So, he borrowed his cousin's son and trolled a while with him. It's all true.

And, heck, if the launch ramp parking lot is full, you just have to get back on the road for a mile or two. There's another lake there, wherever you are in the state. Some say there are fewer lakes in Southern Minnesota, but I don't believe in any such place. The Iowa border is just south of the Cabela's store in Owatonna, I'm pretty sure.

Plus, you never have to clean the salt off your boat and tackle here in beeyootiful Minnesnowta. So there!

We stay at the lake most of the time now, just drop by home once every couple of weeks. Had a great spring and summer fishing. Have company at home this weekend so came in for a few days.
I still stick my nose in the door at dockside once in a while just to keep an eye on yall. Somebody has too! Looks like JB has mellowed out! But I see you got a new club man!Just reading a few post I see yall still have a few blonde jokes for moma fish.
