Re: Just saved myself

Glad to hear that it came out alright, ob. (pun intended)

Also there are several links at the bottom of the page you displayed that would be good for everyone to look at. They give several variations on administering aid to others.

Re: Just saved myself

ob get lesson for us all, been CPR and ER trained several times and probably will now consider update. Thanks.

On the lighter side, I understand you could have turned the chair over and sat on a leg letting it go up your rear and poke out the clog!!!

First,
Let me echo ee's and everyone else's thoughts. Very glad you are OK!
Second,
I too was curious about the chair and how well it worked. Now I know.

I have been First Aid and CPR qualified for 19 years now. Been an instructor for a few years in between. I have never had the chance to use it in any real emergencies. I have had to help settle down a couple of people with some cuts or one possible broken bone. Oh, and one of my best friends had a siezure when I was young and freshly trained. Other that that, no choking incidents, no CPR administration. I guess it is better to know it and not have to use it than vice versa.

I highly recommend either Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR training for everyone who meets their criteria.

QC,
I saw that too and just about spewed coffee everywhere :D :D

AK Chappy
