Nice pics! Thanks for sharing what other parts of the country get to see in the changing seasons.

By the time any trees around here start to change, the Santa Ana winds come up and blow them all away and we're left with instant Winter

The only upside is less raking

Growing up in Upstate New York in the Adirondacks, I truly miss the fall, its my favorite time of year.

as a kid, i never knew where the Christmas and Fall decoration colors came from, until later in life, and i traveled north in the late fall. we either have evergreens, or just bare trees, and brown dead leaves.

Do the leaves ever fall off in FL? Or do they just gradually fall off and regrow through out the year?

In fact I hear the sound of generators, sawsalls, hammers and pry bars as I type this. Recovery is slow and painful, but its a gorgeous day outside at 75, crystal blue skies and yes, the birds are returning more and more each day. Life is good.
