Ran across this old hand trolly north of Willow Bay on the Colorado River, North of Lake Mohave, south of the Hoover Dam.

I assume it was used to get equipment and materials across the canyon long before Davis Dam existed.

Apart from the gravel on the beach that could be just about any lake in NZ .
Boat looks good . I do like to see older stuff that is well presented , helps me to know that there are still sensible people that are not blinded by modern technology.
Someone mentioned about how 10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish . I would say that that the other 90% probly rely heavily modern technology instead of basic skills :):) and still think that throwing money at it is a substitute for lack of skill ( buys fish on the way home )

Watched them again today, half of them staring at a 20 inch screen. I threw lines, trolled, napped, drank beer, grilled and I probably had as much action as they did which was zero.

Here was my day. I've got a couple three years before I can officially be on the govt teat so I'm practicing when I can. There is a 50 foot waterfall up in the woods across from me so that sound was my soundtrack for the day.

I have a local fish place here in nowhere tennessee. Funny because I know more about fish than they do, but they are learning. They used to throw away the salmon belly. I started asking them to save for me and then they tried it now i pay 20 bucks a pound for the stuff.

First couple skin off

Since it was a bigger piece it needed to rest so I grabbed three rocks and put on the bow. Should brought a fork. It was so tender it was falling apart too much, and trust me not from being overcooked.
What you see here is a nice layer of belly fat.
