The two best days for me is first frost and the first 89f day.
Thats 31⁰c , which is ok as long as all you have to get done is workin on that pile of beers. I have tried various tasks whilst continually priming my cooling system but eventually a lack of ballance becomes an issue . Tell ya what ....gettin pished and tryin to stay in control /on top of one leg is hard enough ........beats me how you lot can do it with two of them πŸ˜†

The 2nd and 3rd are the "Wanaka tree" and all the loopies quein up to get their photo taken in front of it ,'parently its a world wide sensation πŸ™„ , but its actually a friggin boring old run of the mill willow that was stupid enough to grow in the lake , to be fair the lake is way low too ,the pic with the boat ....water is usually lapping them big rocks , that woman in the boat (red jacket ) had 2 collie dogs and man did they get into it when the got out of the boat πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ you should have seen the chick sitting on the beach puttin legs on it ( running away )screaming and tripped over her feet twice ,ah yeah she didnt appreciate my laughing at her either🀣 . My parents live just about dead centre of the 2nd to last pix ,other pix are just about the lake . The sun was making pix hard ....couldnt see the screen .

Most Ice Skating here, is done on Rinks. Lakes and Rivers really don't have Ice that is good for Skating. I iced fished as a kid, but it has been about 55+ yrs since I did that. 50+ since I even fished. Since then, when in the Seafood section of a Supermarket, I would hand someone a Fish or package of Fish, and tell them to toss it to me, that way I could say I caught it. I guess as a Senior, I could try fishing again, as I don't need to get a Fishing Licence(Canuck Spelling). Never hunted.

FWIW The Greenest Grass is usually over a Septic Field

Canucks and kiwi spelling is similar, based on english not american. I started reading The Economist about thirty years ago and now have to teach any new device a few new words. Took me a few months to learn how to read in English.

Not a pic, but a short video. One of the many reasons I love being on the water. Dads last two boats were named Loon. Volume up when you watch.

😁Not based on English ....it is English ....you womble πŸ˜† . The problem is that you Yankees ,whilst claiming to be an english speaking union you didn't learn what some of the the words actually meant .......like "excited " Americans miss use it all the time .😁
