I have a VP 5.0 GL-E 2004 Sx Drive, So far Pulled both drain plugs off engine block, drained block, Then pulled both Exhaust Manifold plugs & Drained Manifolds, I put all 4 plugs back & disconnected pump hose bottom, & both exhaust hoses by the T-stat housing. Then I connected bottom pump hose back & disconnected it from the top of the T-stat housing, Then I poured Peak? -50 RV & Marine AF, into the Exhaust Manifold Hoses until it came out of Risers Then I filled up the engine block with AF until it came out through the T-stat housing ,

Is this antifreeze Good?
And is my block safe?
I live in El Paso & at times it snows & gets Cold

Might want to check and see if you have a power steering cooler and heat exchanger also that needs drained before the Anti-freeze.

Did you pull the large hose off the circulation pump and drain it?
Did you drain the power steering pump cooler?
Did you make sure all the plugs you removed were clear and didn't get plugged by debris. Usually done with a nail or screw.
Did you remove the hoses off the raw water pump and turn the engine over a couple of turns to empty the pump?
If you did all that, you are good to go.
Not really a need for antifreeze unless it just makes you feel all warm and fuzzy to waste your money.

I done think this boat has a power steering pump, Its a Rack and pinon tilt steering, I didn't turn the engine over a couple of times. I removed the large hose and the bottom side of it,
The one that comes from the T-stat down to the pump.

Im sure that you have power steering. There is a cooler that has water from the motor that runs thru it to cool the power steering fluid.

If ya dont know for sure id atleast check.

Yup, I found it! its a hose that runs from the raw water pump to the back of the engine connected to a small tank to the steering cables? right?

Yup - now undo hose clamp and let it drain the water.

Not sure if your gl-e is like my gl-h, but my power steering pump cooler is mounted at a 45 degree angle so it is self draining when the hose is pulled from the raw water pump.

Hey! Is your power steering hose like the one in these Pictures? I just disconnected the hose from the raw water pump and it drained it.

I think I pulled off! I just disconnected it from the Raw water pump and it Drained the water from the Power Steering cooler out look at the pics I just posted I believe I Got it, One more question, Since I already filled the block and Manifolds with anitfreeze, do I Need to Redo the Whole Draining process since I just got to the power steering Today? and I Never did the Turning the engine over Like Don Stated

Turning the engine only makes sure water is out of the pump. You are only draining the vane area of the impeller that are open to the hose connection. If everything is drained, no reason to redo anything.

Yep just put your key in and bump the starter a couple times. Like Don said, all that does is rotate the impeller and push out any water that is sitting in the actual raw water pump itself (inbetween the impeller vanes).

Your pictures are of your raw water pump and the inlet hose so I'm not sure what your power steering pump cooler looks like. It is mounted at the back of the engine near the top. But according to diagrams, yours is like mine and should be fine. I'd say she's ready for bed!
