Keel Guard in Canada

Does anyone know where you can buy a keel guard in Canada. I went to Cabelas site and Bass Pro shops neither one of them will ship Keel Guards to Canada they both said the items are drop shipped and the manufacturer will not ship to Canada for retail. I went to a few boat dealers and found soem but they want between $35-$38 per foot.

Walleye, I have found that kevlar works very good, get enough tape say 6 inchs wide and long enough to run the length of the boat 3 or 4 times. run 2 lengths of masking tape a little wider apart than the kevlar to keep the resin off the rest of the hull, then scuff up the gelcoat and start laying up the kevlar tape with epoxy. Promise you it will work very well, look good, but you cannot get it off....By the way, use slow epoxy and remove the masking tape before it sets up or you won't get it off either..

They have a bass proshop just north of Toronto, I haven't looked into it, but I,m pretty sure they ship from there store.<br /><br /> Jim

I called them and they claim they are not set up to take orders over the phone....whatever that is supposed to mean.

roscoe I called iboats and after bein on hold for 20 min, the sales rep got back on the line and said that the vendor would not ship to Canada. The primer/solvent is no problem getting over the boarder as I have saw the keel guard at a local boat dealer, thing is they wanted $37 per foot
