Keep side panels looking nice!

What do you guys use? I have been using a spray bottle of some nano wax with great success. Just spritz it on and wipe off.

Heh, heh, heh...

A few years ago, I was visiting family in Wisconsin, and the news was all about the "culture of drinking" in Wisconsin, at that time. Well, when we were having breakfast with my Uncle, at a restaurant in Manitowoc, and a guy at the next table ordered a Miller Lite with his breakfast, we guessed it really was true. Imagining you are completely sloshed, when you say that line, the typo just fits as a slurred drunken word! OK, OK, that's just a funny thought I had (for all I know you may not ever drink at all!).

What the heck is NANO wax? Really Really SMALL Wax???

we take our drinking seriously in WI, especially in Manitowoc. The guy was probably a 3rd shifter just getting off of work.

Wisconsites takes their drinking seriously! You have not lived until you have enjoyed a New Glarus.

I do drink, though, not a heavy drinker, but I also do consulting for breweries all over the world.

Wi has some interesting laws around drinking. First, you can drink at any age as long as you are with your parents. This does not mean that you HAVE to get served, though, as most places enforce having to be 21. Also, I live in in a border town between WI and MN and we boat on the St. Croix. If you get busted for drinking while boating by a MN cop, it is just like a DUI. If you get busted by a WI cop, you just get a DNR fine and it does not get reported on your DL. Our boat slip is litteraly next to all three of the local law enforcement slips, so I have the skinny on everything.

I am all for responsible drinking and I don't think anyone should drive or boat under the influence, but WI is no "nanny" state, either. It is very much a blue-collar and sportsmen state. Though, I am neither blue-collar nor am I much of a sportsmen. I have never owned a gun, never gone hunting, and I don't fish - lol

My grandfather worked in the shipyards there, and one uncle still lives there. My cousin (he's a doctor) started his practice there after he got out of the Air Force, but has moved down closer to Milwaukee now.

Oh yeah, I know! Every time I get off the phone, after talking with the family, I have that stupid canuck "O" in my speech for about an hour. One time I went there for Thanksgiving, which of course, is also opening day for deer season. So, I decided I would hunt with the Uncles. Now Manitowoc County is a "Shotgun Only" county, and I was kinda bummed about that (nobody hunts deer with a shotgun in Colorado). Then I read the regs. Shotgun OR handgun!!! So, I brought my single-shot Thompson-Center Contender with the 14" .30 Herrett barrel. The Uncles went wild. What the heck are you gonna do with that Hand Cannon??? A good time was had by all!

I have a 2012 Lowes SS230 with black panels. In AZ our lakes have very hard water and therefore bad spots. After each trip I use a pray bottle and mix a 50/50 water and Vinegar. This takes all the spots off and does not hurt the finish. I think it takes me 15 min to wipe down the entire boat with this mix.

I have a 2012 Lowes SS230 with black panels. In AZ our lakes have very hard water and therefore bad spots. After each trip I use a pray bottle and mix a 50/50 water and Vinegar. This takes all the spots off and does not hurt the finish. I think it takes me 15 min to wipe down the entire boat with this mix.

That is actually probably a very good idea. Vinegar is a weak acid and works well on water spots. I would think a detailing spray might work too.

Been there, my brother and I spent a week camping on one of the islands above Stillwater back in the 60s. Went into the twin cities every night then tried to find the correct island at 2 or 3 oclock in the morning.
