Keep Steering fluid on the boat!

Never leave home without it. We went out yesterday and had a blast. Until I lost steering.. Turns out one of the fittings near the motor had come loose and I lost every drop of fluid. Luckily we were near a Marina. While the ladies went in to get a drink I called a mobile service guy. $75 later we were back on the water. Funny thing is, while the ladies were eating a storm blew through. At least they were inside.

I carry all fluids, but usually end up just giving them to someone else in trouble. I wouldn't normally have enough of anything to fill a whole system though. Something to think about . . .
