Working all winter to get a RDE-19 back in the water. Finally got her in the tank, fired her up, made some adjustments and ran! The only problem is it doesn't stay running without continuously staying on the primer button for the two line tank. Tank has been rebuilt and seems to hold pressure when not hooked to engine. Filter doesn't seem to stay full. I reused the spring hose clamps, but replaced the fuel line. Should I be suspicious of the hose clamps causing leakage. There doesn't seem to be any gas leaking, but could air be sucked into the lines? Also could the air connection to the engine be the problem. When you keep the primer button pumped, she runs effortlessly. Also when I replace the diaphram on the tank, the one I took out had a hole where the check disc port is located, but the new one didn't. Should there be a hole? or was the hole in the old one just worn from use? any help is appreciated.
P.S. My first motor project and I am stinking hooked!!!!
