I was informed that my last post was unfortunately missing action shots. I finally remembered to get a few on the water shots.
Great day. We took everyone tubing and had a blast. I even managed to dock without dunking the wife. I think we're finally starting to figure this out. I am noticing that a 19 foot cuddy with a 3.0 liter is a bit sensitive to trim. We had five adult size people in the boat and one on the tube, and she just won't plane if everyone wants to sit in the back. Worked fine once I got a couple people to come forward a bit. I am seeing that a bowrider would let me get a bit better weight distribution, and be a little easier to dock, but I still like my cuddy.
Checked the pitot with the GPS on my phone, and surprisingly enough it's within about 1 mph of GPS speed.
Nice way to spend a hot day!
