Here in the People's Republic of Madison, WI can't seem to understand that the Prez election has been over for what, 9 months and still run around with those dumb Kerry stickers on their cars. Why would somebody still have these on their car? Did I come out of a coma and the election is still going?

Re: Kerry/Edwards Bumper Stickers

This is just a guess on my part but I think some people are so passionate about their candidate that they just can't let go. I still see a lot of Kerry/Ed stickers here. It's even funnier when I see a Dole/Kemp sticker. Could also be some are to lazy to remove said stickers. :) Lots of my customers seem to keep campaign signs in their garages for years.

It's not that unusual. Been the same for years, always will, both parties. If you just parachuted into the US, get used to it. If not, you must be trolling.

Wildbill,

This is a political movement to get the liberal wing of government (Judiciary) to overturn a legally conducted election. Besides in Madison it is like a security system for your car. How safe would your vehicle be in Madison with a "W" sticker on the back window.

In all reality I am sure they either can't find an immigrant to remove it or just don't understand that they can be removed. Yo liberals, that bumper sticker is a "living document". We would be happy to get you a Bush sticker if you would like so you can be current. :D

Since the Democrat party seems to be rapidly falling apart maybe those stickers are the only thing holding their cars together.

Hey mods! I have an idea! How about a forum dedicated entirely to political trolling?

My stickers tend to cover up the rust holes in my car. They do not keep the party together but they do keep the rain out of my car.It is a pain in the neck to get them off.
Besides since losing the election,I should be allowed some bitter sweet memories and some whining over what could have been.
Politicians and baby diapers need to be changed often and for the same reasons. So I do believe that in a while we will have a democratic president and I am sure that many republicans will keep their election stickers on their cars so they can commiserate and whine about what could have been.

Around these parts, a Kerry/Edwards sticker would probably hurt the resale value of the vehicle. ;) :p

I just point and laugh....and then pass them, because usually they're the ones holding up traffic....

Some will say this is BS but I know what I saw and will stick to it ... A mid 80s oldsmobile drives by me the other day while the driver was taking a toke off a device that looks very similar to a hash pipe. I started to give her the benefit of the doubt but I caught a wiff of something that is used as air freshner at Jimmy Buffet concerts. She sees me staring at her in disbelief and she speeds up past me only to show me her Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker. Talk about ROFLMAO... I about had an accident laughing so hard. :D

Re: Kerry/Edwards Bumper Stickers

I saw the Mn version of the trifecta on Sunday.. I saw a car with Dean, Kerry, AND Wellstone stickers. Definitely disconnected from reality.

I find it interesting that you don't see many Gore stickers. I think people were peeling those off in embarrassment.

The one that peeves me is the WWWD stickers. these are a takoff from the WWJD. Stands for What would Wellstone do? I repsected Wellstone, not for his beliefs, but for his passion. he is dead, but he should not be compared to God. That is just wrong..

It's no surprise EE. It's the kind of mentality that the Democrats foster. They like them dumb so they can pull the wool over their eyes. There are however some exceptions like PW, Rolmops et al who just like to live in the delusion the the Democratic party still means something that it might once have.
